Reason #42 why I love my job: I get to spend a little time each day searching for awesome things that will inspire our students/anyone else who wants to be inspired. The only downfall is that it’s incredibly hard to pull myself away from this task. Some days (like today), it seems as if every website I land on is even more amazing than the last. The temptation to spend my work day “stumbling” for design ideas is my constant foe.
So, without further ado or loss of productivity…here’s today’s Inspiration Drop!
1. Leaf Art by Lorenzo Duran: proof that you don’t need to spend a fortune on art supplies to create something absolutely amazing. http://naturayarte.blogspot.ca/p/inicio.html
2. Critical Thinking meets Thinking Green…awesome recycling project! http://dornob.com/paper-back-planters-recycling-books-to-pot-indoor-plants/
3. An alarm clock that requires you to complete a brain teaser before it will stop beeping. In theory, this is incredibly clever…in practice, I might end up throwing the clock at the wall. Nevertheless, I am officially a fan of the iQ Alarm Clock by Oliver Sha. http://www.yankodesign.com/2011/02/23/morning-brain-gym/
That’s it, that’s all! Check back tomorrow for more awesome-ness.
