One of our most popular programs for younger students (ages 7-10) is Multimedia Adventure. This program is close to my heart, as during my first week at Thinnox I spent a good amount of time with our March Break Multimedia Adventurers. Although, biases aside, you can’t beat what this camp has to offer. There really is a little bit of everything worked into the curriculum.
July 3rd-13th, July 16th-27th, July 30th-August 10th, August 13th-24th, August 27th-31st
During this camp, students create their own story concept. Students learn to apply the principles of effective story telling for the digital medium. They write, visualize, illustrate and create the layout design for an illustrated book, applying the tools and principles of vector and raster based graphic design. Additionally, students animate one key sequence of their illustrated book and embed embed voice over and sound effects to their text. The end result of the camp is a unique animated, talking book, that the individual students may take home.
