One of our programs this camp session is “Multimedia Adventures”. During this camp, kids ages 7-10 create their own animated, talking storybooks. The scripts, narration, sound effects and animations are all created completely by the campers. It’s an incredibly fun class that’s always full of smiles.
Today, while I was printing out their scripts, I happened to start reading “The Log” by 9 year old Keira. Below is an excerpt from the script–I just couldn’t resist posting it. It’s short, but incredibly sweet. If everyone could solve conflicts the way Keira’s characters do, the world would be a much happier place
The Log by Keira
The fox returned home and found the bunny living in his log.
Fox: “Get out of my home.”
Bunny: “This is my home now.”
Fox: “Get out, or I will eat you.”
Bunny: “How about we live together instead?”
Narrator: “They lived happily ever after.”
